We here at WisconsinMade are extremely grateful. We are grateful for the hardworking staff keeping WisconsinMade going each and every day. We are grateful for the artisans who provide our customers with their quality products.

We are especially grateful for you, our customers, for being an awesome group of individuals. Without you, we would not be here.

Thank you.

In their own words, here is what our staff is grateful for this holiday season.

I’m grateful for the people all around me. Sounds cliché, but it’s true. My family, who I share a love and bond with no matter if they are with me over dinner in the dining room, or elsewhere in the world. My co-workers, who are dedicated smart people doing their jobs well and we come together as individuals each day with unique backgrounds and experiences and partner with common mission in running WisconsinMade. Wisconsin artisans, who inspire me with the deep knowledge and joy I hear from each in sharing the craft that they do. All the people at Food Concepts, Inc., who share work space with us. My friends, who make me laugh, and encourage ideas. Watson, my in-the-moment yellow lab, who on our walks in the beautiful driftless areas of Wisconsin is 100% happy always. I’m grateful in many, many ways.

Every morning that I wake up, I am grateful for today. I am also grateful for a wonderful husband and my family and friends. I am truly blessed.

This thanksgiving, I’m most grateful to be starting a family of my own. I’m very grateful for my friends and family members, along with their love and support. I’m grateful for all the places I call home. Also a brief mention of all the things life wouldn’t be the same without: Chocolate, cheese, pepperoni pizza, tacos, candy and sweets, leggings, fuzzy blankets, laughter, the ability to see color, hear music, and enjoy beautiful mother nature and all of its creatures.

I am grateful for my health. I am so thankful that I can get up every day and go to work, spend time with my family and be free to travel, which is a hobby of mine. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t enjoy those things.

I am giving thanks to a lot of things this year. I am grateful for my parents, for my brothers and sisters-in-law, for all my friends both old and new, and for my extended family and the laughs we share. I am grateful for my legs and the miles they can walk, for my fingers and the words that they write, and for my heart and the compassion that it shares. Finally, here’s a shout out to my car, lovingly called MLE, for being a trooper.

My family — Especially my two energetic boys who are eager to jump in the never-ending piles of leaves and thrilled about the start of hockey season here in Wisconsin.

Fall produce — Nothing marks the change of season quite the like the shift in local produce. The squash, root veggies, Brussels sprouts, apples, pears, and cranberries that are available in abundance at the local farmer’s market make my heart very happy. I am grateful for the comforting meals, aromas, and memories I am able to create in my kitchen this time of year.

My health — One of my favorite ways to find peace and calm is to lace up my shoes and get outdoors for a run each day. The crisp air and the fiery fall colors of the changing leaves make this even more of a joy.
